Come and see my mom at "Art In The Barn" Art & Craft Show this weekend!
Come out and see my mom (Camilla Krueger Designs) at the "Art In The Barn" Art & Craft Show in Barrington Illinois this weekend (September 26th & 27th 10:00am to 5:00pm)! Link to information can be found HERE.
Just realized I had not updated my bio in quite a while, so if it looks a bit different it is because I touched it up a bit. As much as it makes me shudder to say this, I have approached the dreaded middle-age years. So, no longer in the spring of youth but not yet a crone... lol! I have a great many interests (e.g. Anthropology, Art, Photography, Textiles), but at the moment I am concentrating on fiber art (felting and dying fabric in particular). I came to the world of fiber art going on about 9 years ago and have still not exhausted my interest or fascination with textiles and fiber. I sell my felted art at various artisan & craft shows and the occasional art gallery show. I am still taking art classes here and there. I think at this point I should probably call myself a professional student. LOL! I am also a member of the Surface Design Association as well as the Illinois Rep. for the SDA (and the administrator for the SDA- IL blog which can be found at http://illinoissda.blogspot.com/).
It goes without saying that all original photographs, text, and images are owned and copyrighted by me. Please be respectful and contact me if you wish to use any of the above. Chances are good I will say yes.
Hand wash with lukewarm water and gentle soap (Castille Soap, Dawn Dish Soap, Olive Oil Soap, or Clear Shampoo for example). Do not wring; squeeze water out gently and roll in towel to get excess water out. Block out on towel and air dry. Iron if needed on a silk setting if the fabric the wool is felted through is silk (which most of my stuff is). Do not iron at a higher setting than Wool even if felted through cotton scrim or you risk scorching the wool.
