- ******************************* Just realized I had not updated my bio in quite a while, so if it looks a bit different it is because I touched it up a bit. As much as it makes me shudder to say this, I have approached the dreaded middle-age years. So, no longer in the spring of youth but not yet a crone... lol! I have a great many interests (e.g. Anthropology, Art, Photography, Textiles), but at the moment I am concentrating on fiber art (felting and dying fabric in particular). I came to the world of fiber art going on about 9 years ago and have still not exhausted my interest or fascination with textiles and fiber. I sell my felted art at various artisan & craft shows and the occasional art gallery show. I am still taking art classes here and there. I think at this point I should probably call myself a professional student. LOL! I am also a member of the Surface Design Association as well as the Illinois Rep. for the SDA (and the administrator for the SDA- IL blog which can be found at http://illinoissda.blogspot.com/).
